Due to changes in the S3 storage backend of the services GitLab and application “Submission of Final Thesis” in RWTHonline, connections to the storage backend will be interrupted during the maintenance period from 7 - 8 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025. This may lead to errors in GitLab and the application “Submission of Final Thesis” in RWTHonline.

Due to a malfunction in the storage, the following applications may currently experience sporadic errors:
- GitLab
- Application “Submission of theses” in RWTHonline
- Streaming server in RWTHmoodle

Currently, there are connection issues between git.rwth-aachen.de; git-ce.rwth-aachen.de and the ObjectStore.
This primarily affects uploads, artifacts, LFS, and related functionalities.
