During the specified maintenance window, the IT Center will perform maintenance on the MySQL databases used by the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) service. As part of the maintenance, the databases will be unavailable for a total of approximately 15 minutes.

During this time, new logins to services using RWTH Single Sign-On will not be possible. Existing sessions will remain active and will not be affected by the maintenance.

The OpenAI models are now available again. As part of the restoration, the following usage limits have been applied:

Staff:
- gpt-5.4-mini (UI + API): 50 requests/hour, 250 requests/day
- gpt-5.5 (UI, without reasoning): 20 requests/hour, 50 requests/day
- gpt-5.5 High Reasoning (UI): 10 requests/hour, 25 requests/day
- gpt-5.5 Reasoning (API): 10 requests/hour, 25 requests/day

Students:
- gpt-5.4-mini (UI + API): 50 requests/hour, 250 requests/day
- gpt-5.5 (UI, without reasoning): 20 requests/hour, 50 requests/day
- gpt-5.5 Reasoning (UI + API): 25 requests/day

Due to the current very high demand, the OpenAI models in RWTHgpt are temporarily unavailable.
In the meantime, please use the alternative models. We appreciate your understanding.
