-- english version below -- Am Donnerstag, 09.10.2025, 7-8 Uhr, wird der RWTH-Streamingserver Opencast auf Version 18 aktualisiert. Im Anschluss an die Wartung werden alle vorhandenen Videos neu indexiert. Während der Re-Indexierung sind Videos nicht abspielbar. Der Opencast-Block für den Upload neuer Videos ist ebenfalls nicht verfügbar. Die Re-Indexierung dauert voraussichtlich bis zum 10.10.2025, 12 Uhr. -- english version -- On Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 7 to 8 a.m., the RWTH streaming server Opencast will be updated to version 18. Following maintenance, all existing videos will be reindexed. Videos cannot be played during reindexing. The Opencast block for uploading new videos is also unavailable. ***English Version Below*** Im angegebenen Zeitraum werden Wartungsarbeiten an den MFA MySQL Datenbanken des IT Centers durchgeführt. Die Datenbanken werden während dieser Wartung für insgesamt ca. 15 Minuten nicht zur Verfügung stehen, es sind dann keine neuen Logins in Services mit RWTH Single Sign-On möglich. Bereits bestehende Sessions bleiben erhalten. ***English Version*** During the specified period maintenance work will be carried out on the IT Center's MFA MySQL databases. RWTHmoodle - Proxy - SW-Update

Im Zuge eines Software-Updates werden die einzelnen Proxys neu gestartet. Aufgrund der HA-Implementierung sollte es dabei zu keinen Ausfällen kommen. Betroffen sind u.a. Mail, WLAN VPN/Shibboleth (wg. LDAP) -- In the course of a software update, the individual proxies are restarted. Due to the HA implementation, there should be no failures. Affected are among others mail, WLAN VPN/Shibboleth (because of LDAP).
