Currently, there are isolated cases where students are unable to view their grades in the application “My Achievements”. The development team has already been informed and is working on a solution.
In the meantime, students can use two alternative ways to view their grades:
1. In the application “My Studies”, a list of achievements can also be found under “My Planning” and “Exams”.
2. In the application "Documents", students can download a transcript of records or a statement showing all achievements and attempts.

The Central University Administration (ZHV) will be performing maintenance work on the document management system (DMS) on 16 December 2025 between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. [1].
Theses submitted digitally via RWTHonline are archived via the DMS. This process is automatic; the systems are linked.

Due to a change in the above-mentioned maintenance, a change must also be made to the connected service afterwards. Therefore, in the period from
16 December 2025, 4 p.m. to 17 December 2025, 9 a.m.
the following restrictions may apply to the management of theses via RWTHonline:
- Theses and files that have already been archived cannot be accessed
- It will not be possible to archive new theses and files

Once maintenance is complete, the services will be available as usual. In particular, files to be archived during the maintenance period will be transferred to the DMS retrospectively.
Further note: No restrictions on submission are expected during the night of 16 December to 17 December.

In rare cases, there may currently happen authentication problems in RWTHonline after logging in via RWTH Single Sign-On. In these cases, please contact the IT-ServiceDesk with a screenshot of the error message that is displayed to you.

Access to the DivA application is disrupted and the digital submission of final theses is currently not possible.

The responsible department has been informed and is working on a solution.

Deployment and configuration of the new employee interface.
The system will not be available during the specified period.

Due to maintenance work, RWTHonline will be unavailable during the specified period. The latest database security patches will be installed.

Due to work on the storage system (Ceph Storage), the following applications may be affected during the maintenance period:
- RWTHonline: It may not be possible to upload or download documents in the “Sumission of Final Theses” application. File uploads should also be completed before the maintenance period begins at 8:00 a.m. to avoid errors.
- RWTHmoodle: Playing and editing existing videos and uploading new videos may not be possible. Only videos made available via the “Opencast” streaming application are affected.
- GitLab: Individual functions in GitLab may not work properly.
- Linux installation server: The provision of Linux RPM packages and Kickstart files may be affected during the maintenance period.
