RWTH E-Mail

Das System wird einer turnusmäßigen Wartung unterzogen. Ein Ausfall des E-Mail Dienstes ist nicht zu erwarten. Allerdings kann es aus Nutzendensicht kurzfristig zu Verbindungsabbrüchen kommen.

Während des Wartungsvorgangs steht das Administrationsfrontend (MailAdm) zeitweise nicht zur Verfügung. Nutzende können ihren E-Mail-Account über den Selfservice nicht verwalten:

- Kennwort neu setzen
- Weiterleitung konfigurieren
- Sichtbarkeit des Adressbuchs konfigurieren.

With IdM Selfservice [1], you can configure incoming emails to an RWTH email account to be forwarded to external email addresses.
However, this configuration option will be deactivated for existing mailboxes on November 13, 2025. Mailboxes for which forwarding has already been configured will display the destination email address and will only offer the option to delete the forwarding. Existing redirects are not affected by this.
To continue configuring email forwarding to another account, create a corresponding inbox rule [2].

During deployment of the new self-service version, RWTH self-service will be unavailable. This outage will last a maximum of five minutes.
